Since you're supposed to wait 12-24 hours for sealant to cure, would you just QD the car the next day and apply wax over the sealant?

Are any of these good for light clear coat scratches? I was looking at the turtle wax brand kit, and the others, mainly out of interest. Can it actually work as shown if you sand, use rubbing compound, and polish after use to knock off the high spots people complain about?
