I read some post where people talk about spraying foam pads with detail mist, or water. I know they are using it for a lubricant. I'm kind of wondering which works better and why. Has anyone tried that with a pc and foam pads?

I recently purchased Pinnacle Liquid Souveran, and UPP. My plan of attack was to use the Liquid Souveran over and UPP. But after reading the other thread, I'm not so sure about this anymore. What would you recommend over the UPP, or should the UPP be a stand alone product?
