    Just a heads up....

I have been on and off the phone with ACC over the past fews days regarding an order I placed of a 5L of 1z Einszett Colourtec Wheel Cleaner. Apparently one of 1z's warehouses caught fire and some of their chemicals are on back order and ACC isn't sure when they will be back in stock. I just...

    Help: Polishing Chrome Wheels

I have a customer that has some hammered chrome wheels and I can't seem to get even the slightest defect to come out. I have been using the Megs wheel cone and have tried multiple metal polishes (megs metal Polish, wenol blue, mothers chrome polish) and nothing seems to work. Any advice?

Your Top 3 Products By Scent And Why?

If you have to choose only 3 products by your favorite scent, what would they be? Mine: 1) CG V7 - The orange smell reminds me of an orange flavored drink in middle school. 2) Mothers Showtime - The cinammon smell is very subtle, but smells just like Big Red bubble gum. 3) Auto Finesse Gloss...

    It's official...

Bought my first paint thickness gauge. It's not the greatest one, but all I could really afford at the moment. Can someone give me a rundown with what is considered thick and thin paint?

    Cleaning Rupes Pads

I have a few coarse pads that are starting to show wear from cleaning with a pad brush. I love the pads, but don't want to tear them up. How does Rupes recommend cleaning their pads during and after polishing?

    Flex 3401 Modified Backing Plate

Well, the other day I got tired of my 4 3/8 backing plate eating into my Hybrid pads. So I decided to sand it down for an exact fit backing plate. What I did is found a bolt to go through one side of the backing plate and tightened it down to the backing plate. Then i attached it to a drill and...

    Rupes Company Expereience

About a month (May 7th) ago I posted a picture on a Rupes Bigfoot Facebook wall in regards to a messed up 3" backing plate. As you can see in the photo, it is warping on one side. Not sure how/why it began to do this, but it progressively was getting worse over time. At one point it got so...

2011 BMW 335is Correction, Detail, and Touch Up

This BMW 335is came to me with quite a few problems. The trim was oxidized, the brakes rusty, the clear bra was in desperate need of cleaning, and the paint was very neglected. You could tell this car spent its life outside or under a car port where the passenger side was hammered by acid rain...

    Cquartz Fabric & Leather

DO NOT USE IT. For the past few months I have been battling an ongoing war with this product because it has began to leave white spots on my black leather seats. I have tried to clean my seats 3 times now with OPC at full strength and all it does is laugh at it. Apparently it cannot be removed...

    DP Tire Coating

Was trying out my DP tire coating and messed up the process and ended up with a white coated tire lol. I'm guessing I didn't clean the tire enough. Is there a way to remove the coating for a "do-over"?

    Seeking New Mower Advice...

Looking at getting a commercial grade lawn mower for myself this Christmas. The size of my yard is just over 1/3 of an acre so it takes me a good bit of time to cut with a small Troy Bilt walk behind mower that was given to me. So I feel like it's time for me to upgrade to something bigger and...

    Seeking BMW Advice

Well I helped a family member of mine find a BMW 335is convertible a few months back. Now he is wanting me to fix a few problems it has. The previous owner obviously lived near the beach from the oxidation here and there on the metal trim and black plastics. Not sure if these pieces, especially...

    Just wanted to say....

Thank you to Ray Vega and the ACC crew on taking care of my recent order. I ordered a pretty big supply of Wolf Chemicals and when I received my package some of the stuff had leaked during shipment. Ray took care of it and sent me another package which leaked again lol. Not only did Ray send me...

    Brinkman vs Worklight

Ok, so I have been polishing the Saleen the past few day's and I am almost finished with the whole thing. I've been using two worklights, one dual standing light and one that sits on the ground as I polish and everything has appeared to be going great. Well, decided to break out the Brinkman and...

    Microfiber Pads

After three jobs in the past two weeks my LC HT's are already delaminating. So instead of buying more HT's I would like to buy a set of microfiber pads. I was looking at both the Meg's and OPT microfiber pads, but I just can't make up my mind. Both seem very similar, but I just don't have any...
