    Meg's APC has softeners?

Just noticed that Meguiar's APC has fabric softeners in it. *From Meguiar's web page* "Meguiar's All Purpose Cleaner is ideal for reconditioning all interior surfaces. The superior foaming action gently lifts the dirt away while its unique blend of fabric softeners and optical brighteners...

Bounty Glass and Surfaces paper towels review

Well, I saw these and thought "You know, I've got an extra $3.00 burning a hole in my pocket, why not try it out?" Tech info: -90 2-ply sheets (11"x11") in a single roll. -White with blues "dots" highlighting the pressed design on the towel. -Bag (Wrapper) may pose suffocation hazard to...

Norwex Vs. Viking Glass MF (My take on them)

First off, a little about the 2 brands... Norwex: -Was mentioned on other threads/boards that it was a Canadian mf. The company does have a base in Canada, but the cloth is made in China. -70/30 blend -Zig zag pattern. Virtually no nap (not plush). -Kind of silky feeling, with a little...

    "Similar threads" list

I just noticed this! (I don't usually go that low on the pages. ) This should be very helpful for those that have a question relating to the thread but don't want/know how to use the "search" button! Great option Dwayne! :bigups

I just noticed that there's a VIP room option ($5.00 for 30 days) in the user CP link. What's it entail/access/encompass/do? :dunno

    CarBoy products

A few years ago, I used a polish called CARBOY INC. POLISH 21. As far as I can tell, the company is no more, and hasn't been around for a few years. They had a full line (Wash, polish, qd, etc.). Wasn't thrilled with the wash, but liked the polish and qd. Has anyone else used this line? I...

    Block heater + starting car

So far, I haven't had any problems, but I've been told that you shouldn't start your car with the block heater still plugged in. The ones I've seen are basically a wire loop that you thread into the block. The loop gets hot when plugged in, the oil warms up. I don't see how this can damage...

My review of Sonus ALL-IN-1 (How do I come up with these amazing titles?!?)

Well, same disclaimer for the AI1 as the Total Eclipse-Snow +Very Cold Weather=limited testing. :( Looks-Product: pretty clear, not much scent. Any smell noticed could even be from the bottle, as it smelled a little plasticy (?). Definitely not overpowering. -Bottle: Typical Sonus black...

My review of Sonus TOTAL ECLIPSE (Original heading, ain't it?)

First off, I'd like to say that I got snowed on... lots, so I wasn't able to try the product as thoroughly as I'd have liked before giving my review. That said... on with the review: TOTAL ECLIPSE: Comes in the typical Sonus black 16 oz. bottle, Spray/off/stream/off trigger. I like that...

    Victoria Wax QD

First off- This stuff doesn’t seem to separate! I’ve had a bottle sit-untouched-for a few weeks, and there is no discernible separating. I was surprised. It does say to shake well before and during use, though. Package/label: The bottle comes in a sealed plastic bag, has a flip top cap, and...

    Has Oxi-Clean changed its formula?

I noticed recently that Oxi-Clean has a skull and cross bones warning on it. I seem to think that when it first came out, it was touted as nontoxic, biodegradable and enviro-friendly. Itâ€â„¢s now listed as containing "sodium carbonate, alcohols C12-16, ethoxylated. âہ“...

    What The......White Lightning is Red?!?!!?

So Ok, maybe not so much of a shock now that Dwayne has pictures of many of the 4 Star Pro products on the PAC site, but when I ordered it, there weren't any. Tried it on grease (a grease gun, actually)-worked great! Tried it on hydraulic oil-worked great! Tried it on carpet-dilluted 4:1, as...

Water doesn't play nice with 4* Spray Wax

So I finally got around to trying the 4-90 (4 Star Spray Wax Plus) enough to come to some consistant conclusions. -Water causes streaks with 4-90. -It slicks up the paint nicely. -The "Tropical Oils" scent is nice! -Helps boost beading. -Leaves the car with nice reflecivity/shine. It's called...

This is an ..... umm.... interesting read: http://www.3si.org/carcare.html The first one especially. (warning of some "less than polite" language) And yes, I noticed that it's a little old.

    encyclopedia

Just wondering what amazingness awaits once the encyclopedia option is functional. (in the menu side box) Will it be like a dictionary of detailing terms, or more of a definition with history of products, or something altogether different?

4 * Pro Car Wash Conc. scared me

Well, now that I've got your attention, the scariness came due to the "fighting water spots" agents in it. They totally neutralized my fantastic beading action! The beading did come back after the rinse, though. Well, enough drama. On with the review.... 1-Package / label: My bottle is of...

    green square

Just out of curiosity, what's the point of the little green square at the end of the user info (avatar, location, posts etc.)? I've noticed that most people are "on a distinguished road", but at least one person is listed as "we don't know much about this member at this time" (paraphrased)...

First question: How do you view your "reputation"? Second question: Is there any effect from having a "good" vs."bad" rep. other than the heartache that may accompany the realization that not everyone thinks you're the cat's pajamas?

    Finish 2001

Well, I thought there was a thread on this asking how long it lasted, but I can't find it now. Anyway, within days of reading this, I see a guy at a store looking at waxes, carefully reading the labels, and he chooses Finish 2001 (or just Turtle Wax 2001, as it's now labelled)! I...
