One thing you should NOT do is get all stressed about this issue. I tend to think that washing again is the best idea, but I myself have QDd after a rainstorm with no ill effects. If the car doesn't look too dirty, it's safe to QD. If you are careful and use plenty of lubricant, you'll be OK.
