What do you recommend from the 3M, Megs or Menzerna line? I'm looking for a good minor scratch and swirl remover. The 3M FI-III MG wasn't strong enough, it took too long for each section even with a yellow pad on my PC7424 on speed 5 with med. to heavy pressure. Thanks

Okay, no flames. I never tried this before, but has anyone ever applied a 2nd coat of SG without removing the 1st coat of SG? I ask this because the 2nd coat usually gets the spots you previously missed and increases shine, but does it make it twice as hard to remove? Or even wash off the 1st...

How do you feel after your car is just washed and waxed, then you decided to take it out for a nice drive in 70 degree weather and then you go home to see a million bugs all over your shiney clean car just 2 hours before. I really try not to treat my TT like a garage queen, but you know... :eek:

Just got this today from autofiber.com, it was a great surprise and the glass MF towels used with Stoners Glass is awesome, much better than microfibertech.com and it doesn't lint! Is it just me or when I use the PC7424 about certain edges and corners or even door jams I end up getting my LC pads dirty with dirt or grease, what a PITA. Something like Dawn good enough to clean it and a nice scrub brush too? Thanks

I did a search, but nothing that really answers my question. I thought I knew the differences as SMR has fillers and PIlllMG doesn't. But after talking to 3M's tech line he said they both don't have fillers, but he didn't sound too confident too and even told me that ordering from 3M's website...

I was curious about that, because I do wash my PakShak Waffle Weaves (Blue) after every drying on my car, but wondered if that will shorten it's life. After every use their is some minor dirt/grease marks on it too. Thanks

Which kinds of applicators have more "bite" for applying polish and cleaners? I'm guessing it would either be terry or MF applicators. And for waxes that don't require that "bite" foam will do? Am I right or wrong? Thanks!
