There is a thread floating around now on what to charge for a full interior detail. Seems that $100 is the going rate and it got me thinking. I have a package thats $100. It is a wash/wax/interior. Now most of these interiors are shot and we end up shampooing, stain removing, etc..... and...

So I heard a new one today that nearly floored me. I was not prepared for this at all. A potential client calls me up and says she has 2 cars she wants me to detail regularly for her. An X5 and an XK8. So far so good, I ask her if she needs a full paint correction first to get things...

Why dont these 2 like each other. I was having a hell of a time trying to work with SIP on my Edge pads (green, orange) Rydawg said that SIP works better with LC orange (closed cell)? I will definitely take his advice. Does anyone here use SIP with Edge pads and how do you like it? I...

Blue Edge 2k 6" on rotary

Hey guys, I have a question for ya. Does it take a pretty good amount of polish to prime the Edge2K blue pad? I put the usual 6 inch line of 106ff on the paint, drew it up with the Makita and spread it at 600 RPM. Popped it to 1200 RPM and within 1 pass I was dry! The pad starting making...
