I've only owned my PC for about a month now. I've been polishing at about speed = 4, but today while working with PwC, I cranked it up to a hair over 5. Seems like the extra speed made a considerable difference. Anyone else experience this?

3 seems to be the magic number for me. Of course, if it's a car that's been neglected and has oxzidized after one session, it usually looks considerably better. But, it seems that after my 3rd session with a neglected car it looks about as good as I can get it at my current skill level.

Anyone have trouble with NXT smearing? I washed my truck today and it felt gummy. While drying with a WW the finished actually smeared. The only thing I have on it presently is NXTx2. Fortunately FD saved the day.

At $10-12 per bar, clay is by far the biggest material expense in detailing (per session). Any tips in reducing this costs?
