I hope Scottwax answers because I've seen his work in his "Pre PC era", but this is directed to all pros.
Do you ever do jobs by hand? Of course, I mean on customer's cars that are in very good shape that don't need extensive paint remedies.
Finally picked up a jar of #26 paste wax. I've been using #26 liquid alot lately and found the paste version at AutoZone.
The first direction on the list of instructions is "shake well".:nixweiss
Anyone find Natty's wax to be difficult to work with? I topped PwC and EX-P with Natty's and found it considerably harder to buff off than any other PB product I've used.
Also didn't find Natty's added much.
Detailed a 2001 Black Integra today. First polished with PwC, then applied EX-P by hand. Actually applied it thicker than I should have and let it sit on that black car for the better part of an hour in direct sunlight in 90 degree heat and high humidity while I tackled the interior.

Considering taking the leap and buying some Souveran. I have a few questions about PS.
1) I know PS isn't known for it's durability, but is it as durable as most other carnubas (excluding #16), e.g. P21s/S100, #26, etc ...
2) What's a good intermediate product to use before PS? I'm not...
Of course in an ideal setting you'd top a sealant after 24 hr cure time, but when detailing for hire you don't always have that option.
Which sealants have you found that you can top in the same session with minimal compromise?
I've found NXT to be forgiving when topped early.
After seeing rjstaaf's fantastic results on his Mustang using #7 and #26 I was motivated to try it with my new Corolla since the color is similar.
I have #7, but opted for #81 since I've read it's more "clearcoat friendly" (as are all 80 series Meg's products) and easier to work with...
Lately, I've been using rubbing alcohol for many paint problems, e.g., tree sap and bugs, and it's seems pretty effective.
I know many "bug remover" products are alcohol based, so is it a good practice to use rubbing alcohol (which is much cheaper)? Are there any other problems except that...
Over the 4th of July weekend I traded in my 03 Dodge Ram 1500 for a 05 Corolla LE. Went from 11mpg to 30 something mpg!
Now I have to find some space saving ideas to fit stuff into my trunk. The rear seats fold down, but I'm trying not to go with that configuration permanently.
I know...
I know once bug damage is into the paint there's little you can do about it, but is there a way to hide it?
Once you hit the damage with a PC and polish it really looks bad. How can you lessen the appearance of the damage?
I recently detailed a white car with AIO + NXT and was very pleased.
Used my PC with AIO, but applied NXT by hand.
I've read many NXT users like to apply it via PC. What technique do you use? Do you just apply with a finishing pad and spread evenly at a slow speed, or do you use a...
A friend just purchased a new vehicle a couple of weeks ago. While performing the first wash he noticed what he thought was rust on his roof. He inspected the "pits" and thought it was through the clear coat. After returning the vehicle to the dealership they clayed and removed all the pits...
When doing a three step combo, e.g. #80 + intermediate product + LSP, does the middle step make much of a difference?
In other words would you see a difference in any of these 3 combos:
#80, #81, LSP
#80, VM, LSP
or, #80, PwC, LSP
