    At what point am i supposed to use alcohol in the detailing process? And what type of alcohol is it, just rubbing alcohol? I've read a few threads where cars were being wiped down with a 50/50 mix of alcohol/water. When is it necessary to use this?

    Brand New carpet, should I protect it?

    I have brand new OEM black carpet, but before I install it, should I spray something on it to protect it? My main worry, since it's black, is dirt. Drinks aren't allowed in my car so nothing will be spilled (although you never can be too sure). Any product advice guys?

    I've read several bad reviews of Black Wow so I've been looking for other products. I'm not sure what to use on trim that's faded and won't streak when it gets rained on or washed, or even won't ever come off again, any suggestions?

    clear coat wheel polishing help

    How to do polish and remove scratches off of a polished aluminum lip that is clear coated? I have scratches and water spots on all 4 of my lips and aluminum polishes won't work (it doesn't turn black like it's supposed to).

    What's the best way to polish and remove scratches from polished lips which are clear coated? Mothers aluminum polish doesn't do a thing and neither does NeverDull. Since it's clear coated do I have to wet sand it a bit and use what I would on the paint of a car that's clear coated?

    need some advice, brand new paint job

    I have a brand new paint job, will be picking the car up in a couple days. The paint supplyshop guys tell me not to wax the car for the first 4 months, only wash it. My painter tells me to wax it as much as possible for the first month to layer it and protect it. What do you guys think...
