VM + 2x EX-P + #16...twelve weeks ago on white. Washed weekly NXT, rained on 5-6 times, and only Final Inspection after wash and sometimes mid-week to remove very light dust. Sunny 80-100 F. Garaged after work and weekends. Sealant holding up very well visually but slickness hardly there...

If this happens to you then perhaps I have a fix. After using firm pressure with some DACP I realized the edge of my backing plate "cut" into the foam. LC pads just don't have much "loop" material on them. Right? CMA pads do have that extra material if your using a 5" pad. Does this look familiar?

EX-P and WG arrived today. Need to detail two cars this weekend but cannot find answers searching! Does anyone know if EX-P and WG are used over everything like one uses VM? i.e. Metal trim, windows, plastic and rubber? Would really appreciate advice.

VM is a great product, IMO; looks good, SOOOO easy to use and goes over everything with no worries. If you use it, you know what I mean. If you have never done your windows with it you're missing out, IMHO. I do believe VM is my favorite multi-usefull product even if it doesn't smell like roses...

Used LC Orange, PC, LC 5" backing plate. Using DACP and moderate pressure on initial passes. After half a truck noticed the pad was "cut" all around the velcro from the rough edges of the LC backing plate. Seems to me a 6" pad would chew the he*l out of an Orange Pad. Or, was it operator error...
