Best ceramic coating bar none?

Hey guys,

I want to get my Twilight Blue G Wagon ceramic coated and I'm asking what all of you professionals would pick, I'm sure I'll see multiple opinions, but if one coating overall were to stand out, what would it be?. Would be nice if that coating delivered candy like wet gloss and great abrasion protection.

Thanks a TON!!

While I have used several coatings myself, I'm not a pro and don't have access to pro-level products, so I'll leave recommendations of a product to those guys.

One thing I would caution is regarding your comment about "great abrasion protection". This will be minimal at best for any coating, regardless of what the marketing says. A ceramic coating is only a few microns thick and isn't bullet proof. Coatings do a lot of things and will help minimize VERY minor marring from things like washes and drying because it it makes those tasks easier, not because it's a protective barrier. Great abrasion protection would come from something a PPF.

If you’re aiming for that glossy, showroom look with top-notch protection, Feynlab is definitely worth considering. In my years of detailing experience, I’ve worked with various coatings, but Feynlab’s offerings stand out because of their high-performance protection and fantastic gloss finish. Their coatings like Feynlab Ceramic Plus offer the abrasion resistance and depth of gloss you're looking for, while also being durable enough to handle the harsh elements.

There’s so many great coatings out there these days that it really all boils down to personal preference. With great polishing/prep one would be hard pressed to notice a difference in appearance on identical cars lined up next to each other.

Feynlab was one that looked a bit brighter, kind of Zaino-ish or sealant-like if that’s what you’re looking for. NV Nova had a bit of a darkening effect it seemed compared to many others but appearances are pretty subjective.

I like what I like for a variety of reasons, not all of them having to do with looks/performance. Ease of use & other totally ‘intangible’ things factor into it as well.

Stick with a well-known brand and it’s hard to go wrong. Prep & application play the greatest role for overall satisfaction.

Opticoat Pro has measurable abrasion resistance but not quite the candy coat look you asked about. Also great longevity.

Diamond ProTech Body 36 Coating claims some abrasion resistance and definitely has that candy coat look. It has slight filling ability and very reflective.

Do you have personal experience with the Diamond ProTech? It looks interesting and it the prices are reasonable.
