I just bought a PC from Coastal Tool with Bonus Kit (including hook and loop backing pad and 6" counterwight). I read that since the hook and loop backing plate is velcro I don't need a backing plate, just velco backed pads. Is this true? It would save some money. THANKS! -Ryan
