My cars clearcoat has been eaten away pretty badly on my 03 golf gti. I was wondering if i can somehow touch it up with like clearcoat from factory? Anyone ever thought of doing this? I have good sized etching that can be felt when rubbed with finger.

I am in the process of polishing my car and it seems i am almost out of AIO and SOnus SFX-1 (swithcing between them). I need a good long working polish that wont dry out quickly and is compatible with Zaino. Should i try Poorboys SSR3? I have vw so its thick clear coat.

Can i use Dual Action 6.5" Light Cutting Orange Pad (I am assuimg LC) with 3m Perfect It Rubbing Compound (Grade 6 -Medium Cut) to remove water etching? I want to know if this will work or should i wait for a yellow foam pad? Also should i use AIO instead of 3m?
