LIVE from Detriot - 2005 Corvette C6 photos

Sorry for the poor quality of the photos - it was very dark, very crowded and very difficult to get decent photos...even the pro photographers were complaining about the lighting (more for dramatics than performance). We just got back from the premier - was a good time...great eats, good...

    Meet P21S' little brother

I saw these little P21S sample jars at the SEMA show last week, so I set one on top of a normal sized jar and snapped a photo. Pretty cool little things - I'd guess there's about 1 - 1.5 oz of product in the jar.....looks just like the "real" thing. :)

Just another day at the track...

--> Taken from "over the wall" at the Laguna Seca qualifying session earlier today... --> Watching the crew change a front nose during a qualifying pit stop. 1000+ pictures taken in the past 3 days...interviews, inside scoops, etc. Having a blast as a "photographer" here at Laguna...

    3M Perfect-It III Machine Glaze

I tried this and reviewed it over at Roadfly. If you're interested in it, here's a link to the review. I also did a "short take" review on the Porter Cable 7428 Rotary Buffer, it's in the same post. All in all, 3M's new Perfect-It III is incredible, and the PC 7428 is a monster...

You know him as bretfraz, detailer...

We know him as bretfraz, automotive journalist. Check out Bret's debut article - a review of the 2003 Saab 9-5. Just wanted to say great job, Bret! Next issue will have the '03 Bentley Arnage article...hehe!

Bling Bling - My Bentley Arnarge R (teehee)

Been driving a Bentley Arnage R for the past few days - it's a pretty nice car, but the most amazing part of the car is the MOTOR! This thing is seriously competent. It handles and brakes like a car 1/3 its size - it's unbelievable. Oh, and then there's what I call "The Bentley Factor" -...

Help me find all Glass Cleaners

Getting ready to start the next series of Guru Tests - the Glass Cleaner series. I have about 15 glass cleaning products in house, but need to make sure I've got all of the major players covered. Some of the 'big name' ones I have include: Eagle One 20/20 Sprayway Stoners Bon Ami...

    Uggg. I can't win. I give up.

OK, so you all know that we have a 2002 Tahoe that's dark blue and is used primarily for: (a) hauling the dogs around and (b) wife's work which consists of 4-wheeling through fields after stray animals, and all sorts of other 'dirty work'. I admit (and Bret can confirm this) that I've been...

Enlighten me - why? oh why?

I've had fast cars before, and I've driven lots of fast cars (muscle cars, real cobra's, superbirds, Judges, etc)... So, I have a 337 GTI VW. It's not the fastest car in the world, but it has been known to surprise a few "fast" cars. I've done a fair share of mods (including my most recent...

I'm about to quit using Meguiar's Products...

Bret and I attended the SEMA show last week in Las Vegas, and all-in-all, we had a great time at the show. We met a lot of vendors and manufacturers, saw a lot of cool stuff, and learned a lot about new products. Anyway, toward the end of the week, we stopped by the Meguiar's display (which...

Anyone located in the Pittsburg Area?

I saw this thread on Roadfly's board, and was thinking that maybe a fellow Autopian could help this guy out (and earn some cash). Here's the thread: "Hello, I have several cars that for the past 8 years have been detailed regularly and wonderfully by a retired fellow. Unfortunately, he is...

    Later, dudes.

My time has come - like the others before me, and the others who will eventually move on, it's time for me to bid farewell. No grandstanding, no complaints. Just a farewell and best wishes to you all. edit: Check out the date on this thread before you reply ;) -Jngr
