Okay guys here it is..... This car had not been waxed since it left the showroom floor in 2003. It still has flaws, but I'll get them the next time I work on it.

I used Woolite diluted 8:1 with distilled water as a clay lubricant today. WOW it worked great. Nice and slick with gentle cleaning too. And it didn't degrade the clay at all! Mark

As a Newbie (when do I get out of that anyway?), I've tried to follow these steps when working on cars: - Hand wash. - Clay. - ??? (polish) - glaze. - sealant. - wax. I'm not sure what product(s) to use on step 3 under what circumstances. Would something like Pinnacle Paint Cleansing Lotion...

I bought a 4" Wen DA polisher. Man it works great for applying polishes and last steps. Cyclo pads fit spot on too. Anyone else used one? :love:
