I'm beginning to wonder if I belong on this forum. Are the majority of members professional detailers? Weekend detailers that do it for extra money? Hobby detailers that just love cars? SM

    2003 Acura (Woolite Car)

Okay guys here it is..... This car had not been waxed since it left the showroom floor in 2003. It still has flaws, but I'll get them the next time I work on it.

    Woolite lube

I used Woolite diluted 8:1 with distilled water as a clay lubricant today. WOW it worked great. Nice and slick with gentle cleaning too. And it didn't degrade the clay at all! Mark

Struggling with a step in the process

As a Newbie (when do I get out of that anyway?), I've tried to follow these steps when working on cars: - Hand wash. - Clay. - ??? (polish) - glaze. - sealant. - wax. I'm not sure what product(s) to use on step 3 under what circumstances. Would something like Pinnacle Paint Cleansing Lotion...

    Wen Polisher

I bought a 4" Wen DA polisher. Man it works great for applying polishes and last steps. Cyclo pads fit spot on too. Anyone else used one?

    Dog Drool

My Chesapeake Bay Retriever rides with me in my Mazdaspeed3. The dog lives to hang his head out the rear windows. That's cool...if it makes him happy it makes me happy. That is until I let the dog drool on the sides of the car dry and bake in the sun. I thought it would just wipe off. I was...

    Warning From Newbie

Maybe I'm a Newbie and couldn't fix a rock chip if my life depended on it, but if you ever come across a product called Insane Tire Shine by MC, run as fast as you can. It looks good when it goes on, but God help you if you try to get it off of anything including tires after it dries. I...

    always fooling with the car

Hey guys, I have a question. As an amateur detailer, I'm always wanting to fool with my car using new products. Is it essential to remove all LSP's every time I want to try something new? For example, I would like to try Black Hole glaze + Souveran, but I just cleaned the paint + Wolfgang...

    65 vette

A friend of mines grandmother has a blue 65 vette that hasn't been driven or even seen daylight since her husband died. We're talking YEARS here guys. It's in pretty rough shape from just sitting. This is way beyond my detailing abilities. Is there anyone in Alabama or the southeast that...

    Sealant over Wax?

I'm experimenting on my jet black Mazdaspeed3. I cleaned the paint, applied M20, and put Souveran over it. It looks stunning, but I think I can do better. I would like to try Wolfgang sealant with Souveran over it. Can I apply the Wolfgang sealant over the old Souveran or do I need to...
