    M3 CSL Wheel Rash Repair

I am almost all the way toward getting my new (used) 2005 M3 up to Autopia and my spec. Today I had the rash on the two rear wheels repaired by Alloy Wheel Repair Specialists here in Calgary :ca . There is another long time company in the area but I wouldn't use them again. The outfit is...

    M3 Engine Detail

Just imported a 2005 M3 from the US into Canada. I detailed the engine with P21S Total Auto Wash, hosed off gently, and dried with MF's. Here is a pic http://www.pbase.com/oshea/image/65608086 It was easy as the car is only a bit over a year old and from the Portland area. It was fairly...

Invisible Glass now at Canadian Costco

I was at the Costco in Calgary yesterday and they have IG for a great price. It is a four pack and each can worked out to just over $3 bucks/can. At the Crappy Tire website it is listed at $6.99/can. They are also carrying low grade MF's .....I don't know if anyone has mentioned those yet.

    I'mmmm baaaaaaack!

After building a house and landscaping my butt off last summer - I think I am ready to get back on the board more frequently. Cleaned out the Canadian winter crude from the garage and cleaned the bimmer inside and out. Needs a clay pretty bad but I will get to it when it warms up! Nice...

    Always thinking like an Autopian!

I picked up some wire organizers today at Rona Revy here in Calgary. They had oodles of ski holders at the head of the isle as Calgarians get ready for the ski season. After I put up the organizer I thought "hey....this ski holder would be great for that stupid squeegie" What do you think?

    Truck Bug Deflector Scratches

Has anyone had success buffing out marring or multiple small scratches in a bug deflector? I was going to use the PC and some Meguiars plastic polish or should I just use a regular polish such as DACP.

F150 SCrew Finally Up To Autopia Spec

Some of you have seen my earlier posts on the 2001 SCrew that I picked up (only 37000kms). The body did not have any dings (other than the once scraped up tailgate) but the paint was in horrendous condition. It looked as though they were washing it with one of those long bristled nylon...

    "Oh the horror"

Well this afternoon I continued working on the used Black F150 that I picked up just over a week ago. When I clayed the hood the feeling was BRUTAL! It felt like rubbing fine sandpaper and felt WAY worse than it looked.....argh....hard to believe it was that bad. It must have been coated...

    Getting Rid of Smoke Smell

Yes I have searched:) I wiped down the interior with Meguiars Extra. Cleaned the leather with Lexol Extracted the carpets with the Little Green Machine. Sprayed the headliner with Fabreeze Auto. So anyone that has dealt with this before....is it just a matter of time now? Does it lessen...

    Tailgate Repair (NXT et al)....

I picked up a 2001 Black Lariat Supercrew yesterday (yes...black...how stupid am I) with only 37000kms. The woman who had the truck before me babied it but never had it detailed (thank God). At one point in time she closed the garage door on the poor tailgate and scraped it up. Most couldn't...

So Wot's Hot and Wot's Not??

Hi Guys! It's been awhile since I have been on the board - busy with house building and starting my own business last year! So what's the current trend since I have been away? Is it still P21S and Blitz in the wax category? Who has the best MF's? Any new products I have been missing out on...

    Another awesome Costco score!

I finally picked up one of this work bench at Costco - they were out of stock and never saw them before last week. We just moved into a new house and I am gradually getting the garage in order. They have really nice tool chest to match but it is over $450.00 Cdn I think. The bench was $219...

Picked Up New Mitts at Costco

The set was only $16.79 Cdn and has one cotton chenille mitt, two genuine sheepskin mitts, and one "Black Sheep" with a bug remover that may never get used except for the bugged up visor on the F150 after highway runs in rural Alberta (especially in the late summer - yech). I stil need to do...
