So I coated some brand new wheels with the center section being powder coated and the lips being bare aluminum. After a week of some rain they were washed and saw the lips being covered in water spots, but not the center section. So what are my options here, try UK3.0 instead of DLUX from now...

Has anyone tried this and how well did it work? If hosing off the car is not an option and only rinseless washing is possible, can Iron-X be used and then rinseless washed off?

Has anyone coated bare aluminum wheels with any success? I was thinking of trying Dlux or UK3.0 but not sure it`ll do anything on bare metal.

All colors in that size, according to Autogeek.net Pretty disappointing as they had a BOGO yesterday which I jumped on. Only the thinner ones are available now so I can only get the thin with the order I made yesterday. Just an FYI to anyone to uses those pads and is looking to purchase soon...

After about 15 minutes of use, the backing plate heated up so much that the middle of it melted, literally, which melted the back of the pad, and they fused together, causing the pad to com apart from the velcro backing. I just read somewhere here that the Megs backing plate is supposed to run...
