Best Wax, Sealant or Coating for Protection Durability and Shedding

I'm a novice detailer and just picked up a Brilliant Black Crystal Pearl Grand Cherokee as a daily driver. I'm going to give it a clay and polish but not sure what to use as a LSP? My priority is durability, protection, and ability to shed dirt and not attract dust. I live in NY so I get a...

Nothing gross to clean, just want a clean fresh smelling cabin and get rid of shoe stains. Exterior needs a basic wash/polish/wax and possibly a...

Problems with pads on PC at speed 6

I broke out the PC yesterday for the 3rd time ever to detail my friends car. I have a 5.5"backing plate from Autogeek and was using brand new 6.5" & 5.5" LC foam pads. At speed 6 The 6.5" white polishing pad with 106FF was jumping all over the place and even folding up over the backing...

Is it too cold to apply wax?

I want to apply a couple coats of FK 1000P and then some collinite 476 on top for winter protection. The temps have been in the low to mid 40's here in NY. Is that too cold for the wax to bond and cure on the paint? If not how long should I wait before applying more coats?

Which sealant to use for NY winter?

I've narrowed it down to 4 choices of sealant/wax for this coming NY winter. I want good looks, but durability from snow/salt/ice/sand is most important. My car is an 07 Space Gray BMW 335i coupe if that helps. So make your choice and post your opinions!

Winters coming - need sealant durability

With winter right around the corner, I'm looking for a durable sealant to protect my car through the harsh NY winter. Shine and slickness is also important, but durability is priority here. I've been using 4*UPP, and I love its slickness and ease of use, but it barely lasts 2 weeks. What...

Detailed my new BMW 335i - Many Pics

So my car is about 2 months old, and I decided to give it a proper detailing. Since the paint is new, I didn't have any swirling to deal with, so the whole process was fairly easy. Here's what I did: 1) Wash 2) Clay (Mother's) 3) Wash again 4) Klasse AOI with PC Polishing pad 5) 4*UPP...

    New car exterior detailing

I'll be detailing my 2 month old car, so I'd like to get everyone's opinions on what the best exterior paint strategy is. I definitely want lasting protection (4 months or so) and I'd like the paint to look deep, warm and of course wet. Post up your thoughts.

    No Polishing pads...what to do??

I'm detailing my car tomorrow with Klasse AIO, but just noticed that I don't have any new polishing pads to use with my PC. I do have a Polishing pad which I previously used with SSR 1.0, but cleaned it thoroughly after using it. Can I use this with the Klasse? ..I know I'm gonna get flamed...
