I have a new TR5 steamer and am going to try it out tmrw morning. For those that hv steam cleaned leather, which attachment do you use and do you use a mf cover on it? My manual states that leather should not be steamed.

A friend layed a DVD box on his hot hood and the printed plastic melted onto his hood. The area is about the size of a big apple. Degreaser? Polish? Any ideas on the safest way to remove it? It will be polished after removal.
