I have to wash & clay my girlfriends car at her house and she doesn't have a garage. It's around 75 outside right now low humity. Are there any tips for claying and washing a car in the sun? I got really bad water spots on the windows last time I did it.

Stupid question probably. I've seen people use alot of this Blue tape around the edges and trim of their car when detailing. Where can I buy this tape (any local stores pref..) and is there anything special with it (not very sticky, doesn't get affected by high temps)?? Thanks in advance.
