Thinking or sealing my rims before it gets really cold and I don't think that all of the crud on the back side of the rim will come off, but I haven't tried yet. Is it a bad thing to seal the rim and not have everything off of it? I'm mainly referring to the cracks and crevices on the back side...

Might seem like a silly question but is it safe to spot polish a panel (ie. a bird poop etching area) with X product and pad then go area the whole panel afterwards with Y product and pad? Or must I polish the whole panel with X then Y setup?

I have a fiberglass shower in a guest bathroom that I would like to get back to a good gloss, etc. and I figured why not use the PC. Not sure what products/pad combo to use though. Any thoughts? When it's cold and rainy outside I try to give myself new projects. :chuckle:

I have slight ghosting, sanding scratches with a few sparse clear coat rough spots. From what I've read it seems that Meg #83 w/ an orange pad and then #80 w/ a white pad might be the best bet. I'm following this up with the Werkstat system (Prime, AJT and then Natty's Blue or Collinite 845)...
