  • most of the cars i work on stay clean enough to not warrant any scrubbing...and then the hot water takes care of most of my stains...lol
yea ive been reading that they vibrate heavily and that they're loud, but i still can't wait to try one. You familiar with the tornador tool for interior? I have one of those too. They work great for like express interiors...keeps me from having to scrub w/ a brush on a lot of things.
I love my mytee. I just recently (2 weeks ago) bought a PC 7424XP?? and a griot's garage 3 inch polisher. My chemical package from rightlook came with a dewalt rotary and a cyclo. I havent used my griots yet but I love my PC. Used it on a car at work and on my truck last week. Great little tool. shook me to death but i still like it.
damn man you spent some cheese! Those rigs look legit though, i must say. What kind of DA did you buy? Oh, and does that mytee work well for you?? I was lookin at that mytee light or w/e.
I bought a trailer from RIGHTLOOK.com 6.5X10 2500 psi pressure washer, 90 gal tank, mytee hot water heater, honda eu3000 genset, 15 gal cannister vac/extractor. i have pulled my rotary out about 6 times since i bought it. i use the hell out of my cyclo and just used my PC for the first time today and I must say i love it. oh, and i have a 10 gal husky compressor...
yea i worked on a buddy of mine's boat this summer..it was legit, just looong days. I have a 2008 model 6x12 enclosed trailer w/ 2 55 gal water tanks. 5000watt generator, 20 gallon air compressor, regular shop vac, and a honda pressure washer (up to 2600 psi). I built my own set up for right around $2500 including the trailer... and then i have a high speed buffer and a orbital buffer. Im about to purchase a dual action buffer, but i can't decide to go portal cable or meguires... what about u?
I did for awhile. Now I'm trying to do what ever I can to regroup. Waiting on a check for final payment from BP but who knows how long that will take. Whats your mobiel rig consist of?
i hear ya.. For me, the oil spill helped me tremendously because I was working 7 days a week for about two months this summer. That's how I saved up for my mobile rig... Do you mostly detail boats??
Im based out of biloxi. I started my detail business in october 2007 and have fallen flat on my face with the recent oil spill. I focused heavily on boats so now i am having to regroup.
well ive been detailing/painting cars for about 10 yrs now. I just started my mobile business about 2 months ago.. I'm also a fulltime college student at USM so i only work thurs-sat. But things have been pretty busy. I've named my business "Hi-Depth Details". What about you, and where exactly are you located??
