just got done polishing the lips on my wheels. i was using a wool pad and the polish is really caked on there good. what's the best way to get the pad good and clean? it was used on my rotary.

I want to dye my stock gray headliner black. Whats the best stuff to use and where can I buy it? Any tips? Also, what should I do about the gray plastic peices like the grab handles on the ceiling, sunroof controls, visors, etc.. I drive an 01 VW Jetta.
