I was just reading the latest Griot's catalog, and read an interesting tip. The suggestion was to mix Griot's Best of Shine Wax with their car wash soap. That way you get a wash and wax all in one. Is this a good idea? Will it actually help the shine, or is it just a waste of wax...

After reading many posts, I'd like to try Plexus plastic cleaner. I know it's available thru several online vendors, but I want it NOW. Anybody know if I can get it from a local retail outlet? Thanks

These things are great! Their curved shape makes application a breeze. I used one to apply Poorboys Natural Look to my tires, and it went on smooth and even. The ease of application gets an A+. It beats the heck out of a sponge! It looks like it'll hold up to at least a few more...

Well, I finally optimized the photo of my 98 Montero so I could post it on Autopia. Here's what I did: wash w/Dawn cleaned paint using Griot's clay (Speed Shine lube ) and PC removed swirl marks w/Griot's Machine polish 3 waxed w/Griots Best of Show carnauba and PC removed the polish...

Applied using Poorboys MF mit, and removed with a Poorboy MF cloth. The best glass cleaner I've ever used (in my limited detailing experience). The stuff just works great. Not much more to say. But the windows didn't stay clean for long -- my 3-year old's fingerprints were on them in no time!

They're great! Used them to appy Stoner's invisible glass, and it made the job quick and easy. Very little or no lint, and no streaking. I love 'em!

My wife regularly takes the Monty thru a drive thru car wash at the Chevron station. No brushes of any kind, just a hi pressure wash with some mysterious "soap" and a blow dry. Will this stuff strip the carnuba off the paint? If not, are there any problems with using this type of touchless...

Yet another question floks. My 98 Montero has factory-applied decals on the lower door area on both sides (see photo, the silver area at the bottom of both doors). Is it okay to use a PC to apply wax to these without doing damage? Thanks again guys. JW
