I've encountered this several times with used cars.... previous owners had cheap rubber floor mats (tan, black, doesn't matter) and I dunno if it's heat or something, but it stains the floor mats or carpet underneigth YELLOW. I've gone over it with every chemical I can think of, pressure washed...

(we also have acid stuff for the tough jobs) at one point the guy said that he heard of other detailers using this type of WHEEL cleaner on LEATHER...
Started using AC Delco brand QD at work. Used it with a MF and I'd say it basically works the same as the Mother's stuff that came with the claybar I bought last year. Anyways it's AC Delco, but says "Meguires" in smaller letters underneigth. Wondering which Megs product it may be identical...
I've been using 3M black foam waffle polishing pads at work sometimes to apply glaze. Works pretty good, but they get gummed up sometimes. Once you use glaze with these pads they don't really wash properly, so you can't use them for SMR anymore with is their designed use...
I'm wondering...
On the new cars in the showroom I'll spray on a quick mist of vinegar and wipe off with a MF towel. Gets rid of dust/finger prints... and leaves a bit of a shine. One of my friend's dad's told me that "little secret" years ago.

Just wondering if a bottle of wax were to sit in an unheated garage (in Canada) just above the freezing point.. like 5*C or a bit lower... can it destroy the product? Or is it only when it's COLD that you can't USE it properly??
We have a can of this at work (that we never use.. lol) and I was wondering how good it is?? What it's comparable to?

At work we got a $2500 carpet steamcleaner/extractor, and it works awsome. Usually first scrub the carpet with some CarBrite powerclean (mild degreaser/tire cleaner) then use the machine (with some CarBrite stuff in it).
Anyways I'm wondering what the best way to do it yourself at home? I'm...
Since I learned how to buff at work I've been using 3M's Perfect-it III Extra cut compound and Swirl mark Remover. I want to buy something that will work as good and with the same results, but for a lower price. How is the Perfect-it II rubbing compound compared to the III extra cut? I know...
