I'm looking for a small air compressor mainly to inflate tires and blow out seams. I would like a compact one that I can use a nailing gun for occasional crown molding. It does not have to be anything fancy. Can anyone recommend one? I was looking at the small Husky @ Home Depot but I'm not sure...
I would like to pick up some propel pads for my rotary. Normally I would just get a cutting pad and a few polishing pads for my PC, however I've noticed (from posts) that many use polishing pads and finishing pads when going to the rotary instead of a cutting pad. The budget is a little tight so...
I just picked up a LGM (heated) the other day and it came with a trial size of the bissell cleaner. Do you guys use this cleaner for cars, if not what do you use?
Thanks
I just got my lastest cable bill (Comcast) and it jumped from $39 to $109. I know we were set up for a special promotion (Digital Cable, HD, and HBO) but I didn't think the after promotion price would jump $70. I'm really giving Directv some consideration. Everyone I know who has it really...
I was worked on car today with a ton of pin needles embedding in the BLACK carpet. I must of spent an hour trying to vaccum and brush them out. I used a metal detailing brush and a 5 hp shopvac but still had trouble getting it all out. How do you get things that are embedded in the carpet...
I have been detailing under the table for some time and would like to take it to the next step and become an offical business. What do I need to do get this done and get my name registered? Is there a website I can check out that can give me this info. How long does this process take?
Thanks...
How do you clean your wheels and wheel wells when using QEW? I've read that some use APC 10:1 instead of QEW. I just can't get them as clean as you would with a hose and bucket. How do you mobile guys do it when your limited with water?
A friend of mine is looking into building a car wash. I realize going to the carwash is not the most popular way to clean your car on these boards but sometimes we can't avoid it. If you could have your own, what would you have / not have in your carwash?
I currently have a PC and have been detailing a few cars on the side (just enough to feed my addiction for detailing). I'm debating if I should take the plunge and get a rotary(Makita). Has anyone regreted it? Do you think a PC is good enough?
I ran out of SW and won't be placing an order until after the holidays (depending on my presents). Can QEW be used the same way as SW is in a spray bottle? If so, what are the ratios? Also, does anyone have any special cocktails they make with their QEW?
Thanks
I've been wanting to get an air compressor for detailing but could never convince my wife. Now that we have a new house I "Need" one for winterizing my sprinkler system, and installing crown molding, inflating the car tire/misc stuff. I know nothing about brands, PSI and tank size so what do I...
I just got my Poorboys stuff (SSR2, PwC, EX-P) and was so excited to try it with my PC. My goal was to remove scratches and swirls while making it "POP" on my black Accord.
1st SSR2/white LC pad @ 3.5: scratches/swirls still there
2nd SSR2/white LC pad @ 5 & 6: Nothing
3rd SSR2/yellow LC pad...
