Haven't been reading these forums for awhile and I couldn't find anything on this with the search function, so sorry if this is an old product.
Turtle Wax - Foam Away
Has anyone tried this stuff? I'm out of PB's S&W so I picked it up. I was looking for something OTC to replace the S&W...
I never took my "road kit" of detailing supplies out of my trunk for the winter. Just kept forgetting. Now they are all frozen solid! :wall
DG Aquawax
DG FC&S
PB's Spray and Wipe
Various Stoner's product's.
To make it worse, all were full or near full. Should I pitch them, or are...
Hi all, I'm new here so I hope this is the right forum for this question?
I have a 2000 Olds Intrigue GLS that I bought used 2 years ago. It has heated leather seats(seat and back rest). The driver side seat worked fine for a year, then it started getting too hot! After being on for 10...
My sister called me today and told me that CVS has the Mr. Clean Autodry system on closeout for $5. Don't know if this if for every store but might be worth a look if you've wanted to try this thing out.
I bought one for my father this past summer. I wasn't overly impressed but then again I...
Re: How Tough is Poorboys SSR 3 ?
which of the Poorboys SSR's is compareable to Meg's #83? I was going to buy the megs but sounds like the poorboys are easier to use.
Thanks,
Mike
I bought a bottle of S&W and used for the first time today. The car was detailed this past saturday so it wasn't very dirty at all...a light coat of dust.
Had some extra time on my hands and wanted to put another (4th) coat of UPP on my car in prep for the winter coming up. I used the S&W...
Would Meg's MPPC be a suitable prep product for UPP? I'm thinking of buying either AIO or UPC, but I really should use up what I already have first.
Thanks,
Mike
I'm still new to all this so forgive me if this is a dumb question. My car is Metallic Bronze and what swirl marks/light scratches I do have do not show very well...under the right lighting you can definitely see them but only at the right angle.
Do I "need" to remove these as part of keeping...
Just bought a PC 7336 and have a few questions regarding pads/backing plates. First time user here...
The 7336 has the 6" counterweight...should I go with a 6" backing plate or a 5"? I plan on buying 6.5" pads.
Is a flexible backing plate more desirable?
Which is better for a beginner...flat...
My brother in-law has a year old black truck. He's hesitant to try clay for fear of it scratching. I've been raving about claying since I found out about this past summer, but don't want to give him bad advice. Any thoughts appreciated.
Thanks,
Mike
A month ago I did Mothers 3-Step on my car. Car's been washed 4 times since and been through plenty of rain too, but I still have dried wax residue in every scratch and chip. Makes them stand out worse then before it was waxed.
Is it the product or did I apply too much or something? How the...
My car is a 2000 Olds Intrigue. 50k miles. Manafacture name for the paint is Dark Bronzemist Metallic. As far as waxing, would this fall under the category of "dark" as far as obtaining a wet look?

Found this board last month and it motivated me to give my car a good detailing inside and out. For the outside, I used Mothers Clay Bar and their 3-Step System. I was very happy with the results! Looked great!
Three days later someone at work backed into me:( Not too bad really...only left a...
