Hi!
I have a day off today, kind of on short notice, so I wasn't able to order all the stuff I need online. I've got a bunch of left over misc. stuff from some of my last orders (I usually just buy enough at a time to get 1 specific job done), but I don't think I have much polish left at all...
I have 2 layers of mothers carnauba wax on my 97 Camry, and I just got my order of P21S. I am wondering if I should put the P21S over the mothers? Or if I should take the mothers off.
Also, I have heard that if you use Klasse AIO, you have to wait a day to apply your LSP. I have to park my...
I plan to do my first "all out" detail on Monday. He has a Black Thunderbird (early 90's, maybe?) and I would guess it does not have a clear coat (correct me if I am wrong)
Regardless, what specific things do I have to do when working with a car without a clear coat.
I plan on polishing...
Some time soon, hopefully this weekend, my dad and I are looking to clean up our garages. At our house, we have 2 2car garages that are not connected to eachother. I don't know the exact dimensions, but it is literally just enough space to fit a Toyota Sequoia and an Infiniti M45 in one of them...

My muffler looks like it has some horrible skin disease or something!
It's just the stock one. I think it used to be painted black, but I'm not 100% sure (my family is the original buyers, but before the car was handed down to me this year I didn't pay attention to...

Well, after doing that, and before I wax again, do I need to wash it with real car wash shampoo or can I go straight to the wax?
My dad swears up and down about how great this stuff is (NU Finish) . (the wax/polish whatever), but after doing some searches here, I get some serious bad vibes about the stuff. I've tried it, and it looks decent, I guess. Nothing amazing, that's for SURE.
What's the deal?
How do you clean these? I know the car is pretty dirty, but I promise you that has nothing to do with the actual mudflaps. Even right after a good wash, they look exactly like this. How can I get these to look like new again? They are made out of some kind of pastic or something... Maybe a type...
As a new guy to the detailing world, I'm trying to read every post I can about how to make my car (and others!) better.
One thing I have found to be kind of frusturating is that I have no idea what "AIO" means, or QD (I figured that one out, but just for the sake a argument).
Just as a...
If you could put together a "detailing gift basket", what would you put in it?
The reason I ask this is because I am very interested in car detailing, and for my 17th birthday, I am going to buy myself a bunch of detailing gear.
Assuming I have nothing but a microfiber wash mit, what...
