It's been awhile since I posted. It's also been awhile since I detailed others than my own.
The problem is a 99 red f-250. The hood and roof look fine minimal swirls good color depth no big deal. The vertical surfaces however are very bad. It looks like someone used a solvent on it. The owner...
This job started out as a detail and ended up as just a good cleaning. I could have spent an easy 3 or 4 days in this thing. There is still staining from the GA. red clay on just about everything. This is a contractors work truck(nuff said lol). I must say that after the tools, chainsaw...
What are people using????
I have been asked to do a 84 chaparell (sp). Badly faded.
I would be thankful for any info.
BTW, I'll be using my PC if it makes a differance.

This truck was pretty rough. I would go to the "hand wash" car wash on a regular basis. Yup "swirl-o-rama." Went around it twice with SSR2.5 still lots of deep swirls, scratches, left behind. The wheels LOL I worked them for 1 hour then let my son work them for extra $.
10 hours later...
I saw on another site that carnuba wax starts to break down between 180 and 200. I have found that I really like the look of Natty's. Are there people here that use carnubas in the summer? If so any problems with waxed hoods on black vehicles?

The owner couldn't tell me the last time anything was done to it. He's owned it since it was new. I'm going to get an extractor, you can still see some staining on the hump. The carpet was starting to friz from all the scrubbing.
I still can't look at pics,,,
The page says welcome Maligno yada yada just like before.
I click on a pic in the gallery or a thread and it tells me I must register. ???? que pasa??

Anyone know where I can find them??? If I need to move a vehicle mid process or to return it I use a large towel to cover the seat. It tends to leave little fuzz balls. PITA to get them all out.
