70' Charger, light correction and polish

One of my best friends restores old high end Mopars. This is actually the last car he's doing so I was very happy when he asked me to go over it before it is delivered to the customer. The car was professionally painted by his business partner about 10 years ago. The car sat in a garage as a...

    01' Mustang GT full correction

Finished this car today. It was kinda thrashed but it turned out nice. Outside of the rock chips that I obviously can't do anything about I got about about 80-85% correction on it. The car had really deep water spot etching and there were several that needed wet sanded out but because of where...

Menzerna 85RD, how are you working it?

Let me start buy say I'm most familiar with non diminishing abrasives, SMAT, M105/M205. I have some Menzerna 85RD and have used it before but I don't feel I'm getting the results out of it that I could be. I use the KBM for the SMAT products but I'm not really familiar with the diminishing...

What's everyone's using for a single step correction?

I have done about 6 full corrections(2 and 3 steps) One of the things that I am wanting to do this year is start doing one step corrections. IMO I think more people will be interested in a one step due to cost. What pads/compounds is everyone using? Thanks! Jason

    M100 v. M101

I did a search and didn't find anything. I was on AG the other night and saw Meg's has released M100. I have not heard anything about it but have heard a lot about M101. Thanks in advance. Jason

89 T/A, full correction, pic heavy

I'm going ahead and make this thread. It's really hard to photograph a white car. The before pics are ok. It was really tough for me to get some good 50/50 shots. I won't be able to get outside shots till this weekend. It's dark by the time I get home. Products used Washed 2 bucket method...

Megs #7 glaze, is it a filler?

I don't know if this is the right section or not. I'm working on a car that I think I am going to try a glaze on. It's had some correction done to it but because of the condition of the clear I can't get all the defects out. I have never used a glaze or a filler before and have kinda shyed away...

I think it's time for me to use Trizact sanding discs, opinions needed

I'm in the process of doing a full correction on a black 93' Camaro Z28. The passenger side door is, well, I can't find words for it so here's a pic. It is HEAVILY scratched up and oxidized. IMO it's not clear coat failure and the steps I have taken so far show the clear will come back to a high...

Anyone use the new LC MF pads?

Has anyone tried these? I have seen them advertised on Autogeek. I did a search on here but didn't turn up anything. I use the Meg's MF pads and really like them. Thanks. Jason

Black 1995 Z28, full correction, pic heavy

Hey guys. After some thought I decided to go ahead and post pictures of a full correction I did on a black Z28 that was in pretty bad shape. I know its not a high end car like some I see on here but I believe and have been told the work is quality. The car has seen years of abuse and improper...
