    FS: Mytee HP60 extractor

****Mods***: I have already spoken with DavidB and this has been posted with his permission. Thanks! For sale is my Mytee HP60 hot water extractor. I've only used it a few times and I've always kept good care of it, always cleaning it out thoroughly after each use. Its always been stored...

    Honda eu3000is owners...

Have you seen this (aftermarket) remote starter on ebay? It looks really interesting and would help me out a LOT. Just interested if anyone has used it or has any thoughts on it? Not sure what the rules are for posting direct links to ebay auctions, but if you do a search for item #...

    Diamondite Glasswork kit

I bought my Toyota Tacoma brand new in February 2007, but it was an '06 leftover, so it had sat a while on the dealer lot and the windows were plagued with water spots (the paint was too, but a little FPII via Makita cleared that up, though). I tried everything- conventional glass cleaners...

    Update on my trailer

I posted a thread a couple weeks back asking for advice on how to cover the bare wood inside my trailer to give it a finished look. I considered a few options- paint, FRP, vinyl, diamond plate, etc. I finally went to a metal supply shop and purchased sheets of white aluminum. My dad and I just...

    Edge wool pads?

I thought I remember hearing that there are wool pads for the Edge 2000 system. I have my adaptors (both DA and rotary) and foam pads arriving in the mail today from Autogeek, but I can't seem to find wool Edge pads (if they exist). So if they're out there, where can I find them? Thanks.

Questions for those using the Vacuboom...

I'm looking to purchase a water reclaim system. After doing lots of searching, the Vacuboom looks to be the best option. Aside from low-cost options such as sand snakes and other temporary "berms", which look to be all but completely ineffective, the main alternative to the Vacuboom is a wash...

    2005 Sl500

I finally got a chance to give my mom's SL500 a proper detail. This was also my first time using my brand new Mytee HP60 which I picked up Thursday. I'm pretty happy with the results. I started out by washing with Meg's #62 in foam gun and clayed with mild Meg's Professional clay. Once the...

Looking for the ultimate chrome shine!

I don't typically work with a lot of chrome, and when I do I use NXT All Metal Polish. Its good stuff and I've been happy with it so far. However, I've got a special project coming up and I'm looking for the ultimate chrome shine, the "Souveran" of chrome polishes, if you will. Any help? Thanks!

Finishing the interior of my trailer

I recently bought a 5x8 enclosed trailer to use for detailing. Overall its a very nice trailer, but the interior has wood walls and floors. I'm going to cover the floor with garage tiles, but I can't figure out how to make the walls look cleaner. I talked to the manufacturer about vinyl walls...

RIP: Pete Martinez, owner of Wax Works Detail Supplies (Norco, Ca)

I'm not sure how many Southern California forum members were aware of Wax Works Detail Supplies in Norco, Ca, but anyone who did surely knew owner Pete Martinez. I just found out that he passed away on February 13, 2007. Pete was not only my source for great prices on Meguiar's products and...

    Mytee Lite II or HP60?

I will be buying an extractor very soon, I just can't figure out which one I should get. The Mytee Lite II seems like a bargain, but the HP60 seems very nice, but its $400 more. Is the HP60 worth the extra $400 or should I save a few bucks and get the Mytee Lite II? Anyone have any...

What do you think of this name?

I've been thinking of a name for my mobile detailing business and the only thing I've come up with that actually "sticks" is Classic Shine Auto Detailing Is anyone on here already using it? I'm going to check and see if anyone is already operating under that or a similar name in my area...

Enclosed trailer for mobile setup... what size?

For mobile detailers that have enclosed trailers, what size is your trailer? Do you find it big enough? Too large? Just right? I was thinking 5x8 might be a good size, but I'm not sure. Any advice is appreciated.

Buying a black truck as a detail rig- am I crazy?

Well, I always told myself I'd never own a black vehicle. However, I've been looking at new trucks lately (either going to be a 2007 Tacoma or a 2006 Tundra, leaning towards the Tacoma) and I'm very tempted to get black. This will be my daily driver and work truck which I will use to get me...
