I tried a Chicago Tools rotary buffer that slowed down under any pressure so I returned it but I still have the 8" pads. I want to get a PC but not have to buy 6" pads if I don't have to. Can I use 8" pads on a PC? What would happen if I do? Thanks!

I just got a rotary buffer and used DACP and #82. It slings all over the place and is not easy to wipe off. I use Meguiers W8000 and W7000 pads. I would love to find a compound and polish that are effective on swirls and cobwebs yet easy to wipe off. Any ideas? Thanks!
