It got unusually warm here, so I decided to give my new PC a try on my wife's black 2001 MB E430 and my 1997 silver BMW 740il. In two days, I did the following for each:
1. Wash with BF shampoo
2. Clay with Pinnacle polyclay
3. Apply 3M SMR for dark cars with white CMA polishing pad

I've read other's posts on the benefits of using clay, but I never have tried it myself until today. I just bought a used 1997 silver BMW 740il and decided to give the clay a try. Here's what I did:
1. Wash with MF mitt and Blackfire suds
2. Dry
3. Clay with pinnacle clay and lubricant...
I'm thinking of buying a used BMW, but the previous owner has scratched all the wood grain around the gear shift area. Nothing you can feel with your finger, but it looks kinda bad. Anyone know of anything to remove such a thing?
I drove in the garage today after work and saw that my wife's black E430 had been the canvas for my 21 month old and her large Crayola chalk pieces. She had gotten away from my wife for about 10 minutes and in that timeframe had scrawled all across the driver's front and rear door panels...
