Browsing reviews of these online and I've found a few that claim using the blower causes water spots.. IE dries the water and leaves mineral deposits behind. How much of an issue is this? I'm looking to blow water out of all the spots the TT likes to hold it (spoiler, lights, grill, mirrors...
I always go over the car with QD after a wash and between coats of sealant (usually Zaino CS, but now has PowerLock on it). I usually use Z6 or Prima Hydro. Yesterday I tried some CG speed wipe and loved the super slick feel, but after a drive to work and back today it was head to toe coated in...
I had a temporary tag stuck in my rear window and when I peeled it off it left the sticky and some paper backing. :angry I tried soaking it in glass cleaner and scrubbing and that didn't work... :( so I tried to carefully scrape with a razor blade and that didn't work either and, of course, put...
The car hadn't been waxed since May I think, and hadn't been washed all winter.. so I figured I owed it something special.
Interior:
vacuumed
wiped down with damp mf
treated with einzett cockpit premium
Seats cleaned with 10/1 woolite mix
rinsed with damp mf
treated with griotts garage...
so is pakshak still the place to go?
I haven't ordered towels in years and I'm a bit out of the loop.
Don't want to ruin my zaino job with scratchy towels! :scared: :scared:
I had a pair of big blues and then added a pair of big grey drying towels as well.. and the grey's are much softer so I wanted to buy a few more.. but it's been a couple years and now I can't find them! I was pretty sure I got mine from autopia store...
does no one carry them anymore?
thanks
I'm not sure what fabric the top is made of... and if its cloth or vinyl... so I have no clue what to use to clean and protect it! the list at CMA doesn't have the mini on it.
TIA guys and gals!
Anyone used this stuff before? Obviously not using it on the cars paint... but I wanted something durable, cheap and easy to use for my wheels (they've only been waxed once... 2 years ago... I know.. I'm a bad person lol)
It was easy enough to use... shake can well, spray on, spread around...
Poor thing hadn't been waxed or washed even really all winter long. Thankfully no salt here... just a bit of dirt. About 3 weeks back I finally got it cleaned up and waxed (cept for the wheels). And then it promptly got rained on during a road trip lol. Been too windy with too much pollen...
I got hit pretty good by a sprinkler or something at a hotel stay last night and it made nasty hard water spots all over one side of the car. I wet a towel and wiped at one and it left a ring so I don't think just washing is going to get rid of them...
I got some distilled vinigar to wash it...
ok so it seems every time I was the car (late evening) by time i get up in the morning its completely covered in large dust particles regardless of if the wind was blowing or what. I can Z6 the poo out of it and it still collects dust. So you know what? I'm going to move lol I can't stand...
I just spent the week at my parents house in oklahoma and I took the chance to polish out my swirls and put three coats of Z2+ZFX on the car while it was in their garage.
Now that I'm back home I don't have a garage... but what I do have is this huge tree that is loaded down with pollen...
