I am about to buy a 2002 Jeep Wrangler. As in most wrangler with plastic fender flares, these are terribly faded. Have any of you folks done a resto on these? Ideas? I have seen some stuff about using a heatgun melt away the oxidized plastic. I would rather not go that route.

What kind of applicator do you use? Those foam ones that have the contour shape and a yellow 'handle' always come apart after 2 uses (I think they are Eagle1). Suggestions?

Has anyone tried a carnauba like Pinnacle or P21S over a sealant like UPP or Klasse without waiting? Any problems with bonding? I was going to try it tomorrow on a customer's E500. I like the look of Sealant, but an concerned about longevity since I'll only be able to do 1 coat. Suggestions...

I bought one of these new Megs Gold Class wash mits. Very rough on my paint. Let a lot of swirling :realmad: . Just an FYI for anyone considering it. I guess I go back to the turtle wax spun gold mit. I also got he Gold Class Drying Towel. Haven't tried that yet.
