Today after work I detailed my college's black CRV. As you can see in the pictures below there were a lot of swirls on the car.
This was the process:
- washing with NXT Car Wash
- Meguiars clay
- polishing with 3M fine cut polish
- NXT Tech Wax
These are the before pictures :eek...
This weekend I did my first detail on the Accord after the winter period. During the winter the cars finish obtained some swirls and the depth seemed to have disappeared.
It was also the first detail using my new Makita BO6040. Iâ€â„¢m very pleased with my new detailing machine...

This evening I applied the 6th layer of Zaino to my Accord Type-S. I'm amazed that with every layer the shine gets better and better. I just had to take some pictures after I finished...
Can't wait to put on another layer :D
Yesterday I applied the third layer of Zaino to my car, it now has two layers of Z5+ZFX and one layer of Z2 on it. I really love that shine. Got to apply some more layers just to see if it can get even better :D

This is what was in those boxes :eek...

Today was a national holiday here in The Netherlands, the weather was great so it was time to apply a second layer of Z2. I went to the local carwash, because I'm afraid my neighbours will think I'm crazy waxing my car twice a week :nixweiss
After a quick was I put on the second layer of Z2...
This weekend I used my new Makita rotary for the first time. I started on an old company car just to be safe. I detailed part of the hood and the front of the car before I felt confident enough to use it on my own car.
After a dawn wash I clayed the whole car, after that I gave it another...

After reading this forum for a while I have become a detailing addict. I've bought some Zaino product (Z1, Z2, Z5, Z6 and the claybar) at a car meeting and I just love it.
My problem is that after reading about all the different products here I want to try them. Unfortunately most of these...
I've noticed that the paint of my car is getting less slick. Even after a new layer of Z6 and Z2. If I clay the car, will I have to re-apply all coats, or will there stil be some Zaino left?
