    Wash sponge with hose attachment?

Hi, I'm looking for a wash sponge of some description which has a hose attachment, and allows water to be pumped THROUGH the sponge. I know that this is common for car brushes, but I've never come across a sponge like this. (note that ideally I'd want the sponge to be covered in MF or some...

    Small, VERY quiet rotary?

Does anyone make a small and VERY quiet rotary buffer? (why are electric motors so noisy!). Ideall it'd be able to be run from DC power, such as a car battery. The reason I want something like this is that a) I need something very quiet so I don't upset my neighbours, and b) I'm figuring...

    Fogging deodorizer?

I stumbled on a fogging deodorizer product the other day, but just can't find the web site again. It was a bottle which is placed in the car with the windows up, and then activated to release a "fog" which permeates throughout the interior. If anyone knows where to get these please post the...

Zaino kit with aftermarket containers - looking for the web site

Hi, I recently stumbled on a web site for a company which sells Zaino products in a kit with their own special containers, which they purport results in less waste. Can someone give me the link because I just can't find it with Google. :( Thanks in advance..... Greg.

Dishwashing detergent for washing cloths & applicators?

Is it ok to use dishwashing detergent to wash cleaning cloths and applicator pads etc? I'm thinking that perhaps it will be stronger than normal clothes washing liquid, and do a better job. Also, is it safe for the washing machine? Thanks, Greg.

How feasible to follow rotary polishing with hand polishing?

I've seen it said that sometimes a random orbital is required after rotary usage, to remove the final bit of swirling which the rotary itself may introduce. How feasible is it to do this final stage of polishing by hand? Greg.

Are rotaries quieter than random orbitals?

I saw a detailer using a rotary once, and I remember it being very quiet. My random orbital is very noisy. Would it be correct to say that in general, rotaries are appreciably quieter than random orbitals? Thanks, Greg.

Could I practice polishing on whitegoods?

Hi, Would it make any sense at all to practice machine polishing on whitegoods? I just went to my fridge, saw the great expanse of flat white metal, moved my head around and yes - saw some swirl marks, and thought "hmmmm". Greg.

How to mix/stir bottles which are nearly full?

In my opinion there is just no way that I am achieving any appreciable mixing when I shake my bottles of SSR. The bottles are too full, and the polish is also too thick. Just a silly thought - can you get purpose designed stirrers for this kind of situation? I'm thinking of something which...

Difficulty removing SSR2.5 swirls with SSR1

Hi, I have just tried a bit of hand polishing with SSR2.5 followed by SSR1. The good news is that this is doing a good job at removing what appears to be water spots. However, I can't seem to completely remove the swirls which SSR2.5 itself introduces. Note that despite the fact that I...

How to tell when the polish is breaking down?

Hi, How do I tell when the polish is beginning to break down, and has completely broken down? I just haven't seen this answered in everything I've read so far. It seems to be assumed knowledge! :) Greg.

QD or waterless wash which dries to a powder?

Hi, I've tried a few waterless wash products, and they all clean well. However, I've noticed that to completely remove the smearing, I have to buff quite a lot, and all this buffing worries me because I think this is where I risk scratching - not the initial wipe-off. (just a gut feeling I...

    Remove fine scratches from glass?

Is it possible to apply some kind of sealant/glaze to auto glass, to hide fine scratches? If so, do the scratches remain invisible under all circumstances (such as driving into the sun)? Thanks, Greg.
