I've had my buffer for about 2-1/2 years now and it's never been serviced. Is there a rule-of-thumb concerning how often it SHOULD be serviced? How much will it cost? What exactly should be done when serviced (bearing, brushes?)? Thanks

Was talking with a fellow detailer this morning and he claims that running my P/C polisher to fast will actually "bone" or harden the paint and make it hard to work. He's been doing this a long time and I really value his opinions. What's the word out in D.C.?
