I have a 2000 toyota solara and the front grill chrome is peeling off. This is a common problem with solara's of that year. My question is what can i use to strip off the remaining chrome and not damage the matte plastic underneath which does not look all that bad? I do not want to sand it off...

going to buy a da polisher. can someone point me to the thread that had all the specs for the different machines? was leaning towards the porter cable 7424 but i see that it only has a side handle. the meg's and the griot's have top handles. is one better than the other? thanks

is it overkill to wash your car with meg's ultimate wash and wax and then go over it with ultimate quick wax?
