Hey Guys,
I'm a UF student in Gainesville and I was wondering if any other autopians live in Gainesville. It'd be cool if we can get together, share products and detail our cars, especially this time of year
Just ordered this bucket from autopia-carcare. Does anyone have this bucket? Is the $70 price tag worth it? I really like the idea of it being a seat since my back kills me everytime I detail.
I can't wait to try it out!

I didn't know where to post this, but I needed to share what has happened to me. It is with greatest distress that I have to share with you the demise of my 3g. I over turned to avoid a truck tire on the highway, then over corrected and the rest was history. I slammed into the guard railing on...
I just had a chance to test out this detergent on my heavily soilded concourse buffing towels ($14.95 each) from DavidB at Autopia-carcare. I usually use these towels as a final buff of my LSP, but the reason they were heavily soiled is because my non-autopian brother used them to apply tire...
Hi guys,
I have seen the wheel sealant on silverlexus's wheels and it adds a great shine. I've also heard great things about the EX-P+ sealant that's coming out in the near future.
What would be the benefits of using the wheel sealant over say, UPP or SG?
and what's the target of the...
Hi guys,
After hours of researching leading to an empty wallet (well worth it), I decided to undergo my first autopian detail. I got a PC this past Christmas, but was not able to use it since I don't have access to an outlet. Anyways, the paint was in decent shape with isolated swirls, so...
Just like the title sais, I've researched and couldn't find an answer.
My understanding is that driving wouldn't interfere with the SG bonding to the paint but might interfere with the SG cross-linking properly. Am I correct?
One more question: should I use sonus acrylic spritz after a...
Is SFX-3 a non-filler polish? Does it contain alot of oils, etc.? The reason I ask is because on its description, it says to follow it with a pure wax or sealant.
I'm wondering if the polish is heavy in oils or contains fillers, it can interfere with a sealant bonding and would require AIO...
Hi guys,
My daily driver generates so much brake dust that my front wheels are fully covered by dust from one single drive on the highway.
My question is: I'm planning on entering detail contests and my rotors and caliper do not look new whatsoever.
What do I need to use and do to get...
Hi guys,
I've been searching for an affordable way to power my new PC 7424 since I do not have a garage and outlet access.
What do I need to do so? Is it called a 750+ transformer? And does it connect to the car battery? And do I need an extension cord?
Lastly, where is the best place...
Would it be okay to apply AIO over Sonus's new FSX-3 polish, or would it dull the gloss that's created by the fine polish?
The instructions recommend topping the polish with a pure sealent or wax, but I think that Klasse SG wouldn't like the surface without AIO. What's the verdict? Can SG be...
