Hello everyone, I purchased a Makita 9227 after my DA decided to take a long break. I'm pretty uncomfortable using 8" pads with the default 7" backing plate and thus am thinking of using 5" and 6.5" pads instead. Can I use a the 4" backing plate for the 6.5" pad? Is it safe? Thanks. :)

Hi guys, Anyone have had any experience with Menzerna's APO60 sealing wax? Based on the product sheet, it has a cutting ability of 1.0. Is it more of a cleaning wax? How is its shine, durability and ease of use? Tks :)

There were light-medium swirls, waterspots and light scratches on this car. Washed with NXT car wash, then used Meguiars #80 speed glaze and NXT tech wax with an orbital and 100% cotton towels. Will be applying a second coat of NXT tomorrow, pretty happy with this combo. :)
