I have a sticky residue after removing a decal from windshield glass. I've tried alcohol, paint thinner, water and razor blade scraping -- all without success. Suggestions please?

How does it compare with the old shiny product? Better? Safer? Different chemically? How does it compare with competitive products? Any info would be appreciated.

Is the California Wiper Blade meant to be pulled across a surface or is it supposed to be used like a snow blade (sort of pushed ahead at a 30 degree angle to the surface)?

After washing, I would like to speed-up the drying process without damaging my paint. I'm not looking for perfection. Is there any harm in using a low-powered leaf blower to do the job quickly? Expert opinions (and others, Ha!) would be welcomed.
