This car is very well maintained and I just wanted to know if I need to clay before I use KAIO with a white polish pad on my Porter Cable. Won't KAIO remove everything that a claybar would have removed?

I bought a 6 pack of 3m sponges that were pretty cheap. They are kitchen sponges but are treated with "StayFresh" antibacterial stuff, I rinsed them out before I used them on my leather but I just wanted to check here if they are safe before I keep using them.
