Has anyone in the Valley tried to organize a detailing meet?

Some idiot, in their infinite wisdom :rolleyes:, decided to scratch the hood of the Edge. Luckily, this isn't deep enough to warrant a trip to the body shop. I am planning to tackle this with a few tools in the arsenal, including my Porter Cable 7428 rotary. Pics to follow.

Truthfully, things have been quite busy for yours truly with work (Brad B. could actually testify to that as I was often in his backyard) and life in general. But, I am slowly making my comeback.

One thing I am learning about these vehicles is that the lower textured plastic cladding is a PITA to clean properly. I am wondering if using an all-purpose cleaner (e.g. EF HI diluted) would be effective in cleaning that as well as the textured plastic on the spoiler of an SE.
