This is a long term test of Meguiar's #26 Hi-Tech Yellow Wax. It was applied to a Ford Escape, which is a daily driver. The paint has some imperfections, which will hopefully simulate realistic conditions. The test was started 3/3/2008.

I've seen a few articles explaining how to make your own wax. You can buy a block of carnauba cheap, and add a few products to it. Has anyone tried this? Doesn't seem that hard to be able to make a wax high in carnauba content. Does it just seem easy because I haven't tried it?
