    CarPro BlackOut Tire Coating

Looks like there`s a new tire coating, presented by Pan - yeah that`s right Pan. He`s demonstrating/reviewing a new tire coating from CarPro. And no, it`s not sponsored, he bought it. I like the sheen, but it`s got a hefty price tag, so longevity is paramount for it to be of value - at least to...

    Wheels and drums - coating

So I`m intent on doing the prep and coating process this weekend. Going to coat the tires and wheels. I don`t have a lift and don`t feel like removing the tires. For the wheel drums/barrels, would you still recommend coating them (difficult accessibility) or use a spray sealant and call it a day?

Rag Company`s Pluffle or Griot`s Garage`s Plush Edgeless Towels?

I also posted this on Autogeek. Any real deal difference or personal preference between these 2 premium towels? https://www.griotsgarage.com/product/microfiber+plush+edgeless+towels+set+of+6.do?sortby=ourPicks&from=Search https://www.autogeek.net/rc-20x40-pluffle-drying-towel-grey.html

    AIO`s - is Klasse still a player?

That was probably my "entry" product into hobbyist detailing and it sure did work well. Then again, I did not have much to compare it with either. With all the AIO`s out there, is Klasse a relic of the past?

    More of an esoteric question

Bit of play on words, but I have a question, sparked by videos from Todd C from Esoteric Car Care. On COATED cars, he advises using a coating topper as a maintenance product - Overcoat, Polish Angel, Cure etc, but strongly advises to stay away from using quick detailers, shampoos with gloss...

    License plate covers

Few things make a well detailed car look shabby than those cheap dealer license plate covers. I have had good luck with Griots, but at $40.00 + $15.00 shipping, I may just want to see if there are any good recommendations before I go the Griot`s route.

    Ppf -

PPF and detailing Question for those who have or detail cars with PPF on part or all of the vehicle. Are there specialized products to decontaminate, polish or LSP or does it not matter?

    Piano black protection

On my new Mazda, there is a small area around the shifter that is piano black - ya know super shiney and easily scratched. Is there any product available/recommended to lessen/help prevent swirl marks and light scratches?

    Good lsp for NY/NJ winters

Ok, now that I just sold my Audi and Subaru and have 2 new cars I that I will need some protection from the upcoming winter weather. Unfortunately I don`t think I will have access to a heated garage to do proper prep and apply a coating. But I am hoping that I can get a weather cooperative day...

Kamikaze Overcoat or PA Cosmic Spritz?

Last year I applied Kamikaze Zipang followed with Overcoat. Well` it`s time to apply a new maintenance product and besides total system compatibility with the 2 K products, are there any advantages with using Cosmic Spritz instead?

I have been using Ultima WW for a long time and it works very well, BUT I want to try a WW w/o any waxes, shine enhancers, etc. Any recommendations?

    Protection for glossy "wood" interior

My car`s interior has some glossy wood trim on the dash and doors and has gotten through normal wear and tear some very light swirls and scratches which I will polish out. However, other than PPF - which I won`t use, would anything (other than being super) careful help keep swirls and scratches...

Ok, I goofed up a panel and hood...

Ok, I probably did not either wait long enough between coating layers and/or used too little product, resulting in some unevenness in a panel and hood. The hood does have PPF on it so I need to be super careful about re-polishing that area. Since my car had such good care I only needed/preferred...

    Wash again after ERASER?

Ok, some good weather today and tomorrow so I`m taking advantage and going to apply a coating. I did the whole decon thing already so I washed the car and am doing a bit of paint correction/polishing. After that will use Eraser or Gyeon Prep which I have on hand. Question - after applying...
