Just did an experiment involving Aquawax since it was designed as a WAUD type product. I tried spritzing both Duragloss Fast Clean & Shine QD and Aquawax on a panel and then spreading both with mf towel, turn towel over and wipe off. It's kinda dramatic how a grabby towel suddenly seems like it...
I have some scratches on my windshield that follow the arc of the wiper. My best guess is that some foreign material was dragged by the wipers. It's enough of a problem to hinder vision drastically especially since it's on the driver's side.
I tried some NevrDull dipped in some old Eagle...
I had to wash a dragster while owner was installing carpeting inside my house. Owner didn't want water sprayed onto the car and I only had about 1.5 hours to do the job. QEW to the rescue. I used AIO as a one-step polish/wax. Used some NevrDull dipped in Brasso to give me a quick shine on...
Do you know of a glaze or polish or similar product that use fillers that are relatively durable? I know that oils usualy used in such products dissipate in a couple of weeks if not less. I'm wondering if Duragloss or FK or CG (or anybody else for that matter) has such a product...
Figured I'd show how NXT Paste Wax looks. Followed with NXT Speed Detailer which greatly improved the gloss and clarity of reflections and added wetness. Should look better tomorrow as NXT cures.
I'm aware that my camera (Nikon Coolpix 3100) is not getting the focus right.:nixweiss...
I've been blasting my wash mitt with a powerful stream from the hose. Seems to work well. Why do Autopians advocate the 2 bucket method over using a hose?
Thanks.
I just went to Meg's website and they have some products that piqued my interest. They're coming out with NXT Paste Wax, and a NXT QD among other things. I wonder when these will come out to the stores. Are these out already?
I was getting my sapphire blue Miata ready for its winter coating of Klasse twins. I washed and clayed in the dark last night. Went in to find some broad stroke marring most likely from the claying. Removed those with 3M Fine Cut Compound using a PC and a white polishing pad. I also went at the...
Here are some pics were I put a second coat of SG on my cousin's car. It took us about 8 minutes to apply and wipe off, so I'd imagine it'll take about 12 if I did it solo. I found that using the yellow foam pad that came with my Souveran wax was easier to use than the microfiber pad I used to...
I received a package from Autopia that included the Klasse Vinyl Leather Rubber Plastic Cleaner Protectant (VLRP). I've been using 303 and Vinylex on my interior plastics. NXT Tech Protectant is my tire dressing on choice at this moment (also like 303 and Vinylex, depending on my whims). It has...
I've been hooked on the Klasse twins for the longest time (and I still am) but I had some Souveran that I needed to use. On my car, I'm ecstatic with the twins but Souveran gives something different: the color is deeper and wetter. Souveran can't touch the vivid reflections of light sources on...
