There have been several posts lately regarding the use of wax over new paint. Most say to wait 30 or more days. What about using a QD that contains carnauba? Is the carnauba content great enough to affect the paint?

Do you all use your porter cable to remove polish or glaze or only to apply? Also, I use P21s/Souveran and am curious if there is a way to use with the PC or if I should apply and remove by hand. Thanks.

I am considering buying the porter cable ultimate detailing machine(how it is shown on www.properautocare.com) and am curious if this is a good product for someone with no experience using a machine to polish/wax. Any advice would be appreciated.

I just had some paintwork done on my guards red 911 and the guy at the body shop said it is not necessary to wait 30 days to polish and wax. I have both P21S GEPC and 3m IHG and am curious which would be easier on the paint. Also, is P21S carnauba easier on the paint than blitz wax. Thanks.

I have a 1989 Porsche 928 GT, guards red and there are a few areas of concern with the paint. Both upper door sills have water spots and I am unable to remove them. I have heard some people say to use vinegar to remove them. I currently use P21S paintwork cleanser or 3M imperial hand glaze...
