I did a test on my Grand Caravan today. Just did the hood with M205/white pad via the PC7424. Did the 50/50 thing in the middle of the hood---I could see no difference at all. How long do you polish in one location?? And what is "flash"?? I may need to use M105 first, but not really sure...

I have just recently acquired my PC7424xp. I have not used it to polish yet but have done one job of wax application with it. I was very impressed at how nice the paint looked using the machine. I put on Megs Gold Class liquid wax, then buffed it off with my Craftsman buffer and mf bonnets...

I have seen a few sander/polishers for sale here lately. Has anyone ever tried to polish a car with one of these machines?? They are very cheap, but it just seems to me; not having ever used anything but a buffer; that they would cause more problems than they would solve. Any thoughts??

I currently only use Vinyex on the interior surfaces. I like it because I dont really like the high shine, greasy look on my dash. Should I be following the Vinyex with something else or is it good by itself???:huh:

I was at an auto specialty shop and saw some 3M glass cleaner in an aerosol spray can. I gave it a try and did not like it. Tried numerous different ways to apply but left streaks. Stoners all the way.
